Project Description
A “60’s” house with old worn carpet and dated lino which upon further investigation covered a beautiful native Rimu timber floor.
This project involved careful removal of the asbestos lino and carpet, extensive epoxy gap filling of the side gaps of the floor boards, sanding and application of four coats of satin water-borne polyeuethane. The result was a beatutiful, warm floor, expertly restored and protected to last many more years.
“We couldn’t believe how our old floors that were hiden under our carpet transformed into a a thing of beauty. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris if you are thinking of restoring your timber floor to new.”
